I've noticed a uniquely Australian entertainment industry trend, whereby homegrown talent is neither celebrated nor recognised, until they are endorsed or given the tick of approval by an international audience. Australia has a wealth of talent, like hidden gems waiting for the right mentor or support unfortunately, the system does not allow many to have access to what they need. I want to endorse someone for their talent, period.

itsmuse aims to address this trend and is dedicated to developing, mentoring, and identifying new or underappreciated talent of all ages. itsmuse is open to everybody's creative ideas, but will strictly stay true to our ethos and vision. What is your art?

Regardless of your education, age, gender, or race, talent is talent, art is art and ingenuity is ingenuity. All too often life, the fear of failure or rejection, and a lack of information stops people from chasing their dreams. itsmsue provides a safe place to present your work without judgment or agenda. Our contributors follow their intuition, passion, and excitement to identify muses in need of mentorship and help them to expand their craft connecting them with what money can't buy — experience. Initially, what we aim to do is start a discussion for all aspiring talent… Let's discuss what art means to you. We believe that a muse or a mentor can be defined in multiple ways.
